This story was fine, but the acting was kinda poor and the whole thing just felt like a porno.

**"Why do women like roofers?"** This romantic drama chronicles the unexpected and intense lesbian relationship between Jasmine, a successful fashion editor engaged to her fiancé in Toronto, and Dallas, a confident, magnetic, and promiscuous roofer. Following a chance encounter at a nightclub, Dallas initiates a bold pursuit that Jasmine attempts to resist in order to protect the stability of her life. However, the undeniable physical attraction and chemistry between them soon become irresistible, sweeping them into a passionate affair that will force them to reexamine their identities, their deepest desires, and their future. "Below Her Mouth" is a bold and refreshing contribution to contemporary erotic cinema, particularly due to its steadfast commitment to the female gaze. Directed by April Mullen and written by Stephanie Fabrizi, the film makes the brave choice to be shot by an all-female crew, a decision that translates directly onto the screen through a unique sensibility. The erotic moments are neither instrumentalized nor presented for the satisfaction of the traditional voyeuristic gaze; instead, they are rendered in a raw, visceral, ethereal, and deeply respectful manner, capturing lesbian pleasure and desire with true authenticity. There is an extraordinary chemistry between the lead actresses, Erika Linder (Dallas) and Natalie Krill (Jasmine). While the former brings a soft masculinity and a magnetic confidence, the latter displays a vulnerability and internal conflict that stand as the paradigm of heteronormative femininity. Beyond the frankness and explicit sensuality of its scenes—which stand out for their beautiful cinematography—the film is a journey of self-discovery and liberation. It is a work that celebrates unforeseen passion as a necessary catalyst to awaken to a life truer to oneself.

Americans just can't make a good lesbian movie. This one is formulaic and full of clichés. A good lesbian movie is "A Room in Rome" - a sweet and sentimental movie.

If you're going to open your movie with an unengaged sex scene, you should probably at some point offer during your runtime offer something else too. _Below Her Mouth_ however, does not. _Final rating:★½: - Boring/disappointing. Avoid where possible._
