This movie was one of the most anticipated for me after No Way Home, and seeing Peter's struggle and growth stunned me; I enjoyed every part of the movie. The only complaint about this movie is that they haven't shown Peter's full power throughout the movie. I loved this movie a lot !! Can't wait for the next one.

This is a very decent superhero movie. It does build on previous movies and builds the narrative for the next one in this shared universe, but it doesn't become overburdened with references or cameos. It only includes two other established heroes and the dynamic between Spider-Man and these two make for the rest of the movie. It is a good entry in the continuing Marvel saga and is a good example of how less is sometimes more.

*Spider-Man: Brand New Day* is an example of why Tom Holland's Peter Parker / Spider-Man is my favorite incarnation of the character in live-action. The story is the most mature of the Sony/MCU Spider-Man films, showing how Peter navigates being a superhero in a world where people forgot his name. Because Dr. Strange had wiped people's memories with a spell at the end of the previous film, *No Way Home*, both Ned Leeds and MJ don't remember him, leading to a fractured relationship between the three of them, but at the same time, their dynamics are still in there somewhere, and the way they handle their reconciliation-ranging from MJ drawing Peter and Ned building Lego sets together to Peter and Ned recreating their handshake at the end-is poignant and poetically symbolic because it shows that their connections are still airtight, even if MJ and Ned don't know who Peter Parker currently is. Now regarding Jean Grey, I was a little bit skeptical at first of her being the antagonist, especially after having seen the Disney+ series *X-Men '97*, where her dynamic as a mom to who eventually becomes Cable is one of the most mature forms of storytelling in media, but giving her the tragic reason of losing her sister Sara to the Department of Damage Control's actions made her very sympathetic. And the plot twist the "V-Max" she was looking for is just a vent is brilliant writing because it shows that just like Jean, Sara was also delusioned by the DODC's actions, and it led to her own demise when they pushed her too far and killed her. The way they handled Peter's powers evolving was smart as it didn't take away from who he is as a superhero-that being a normal person with superpowers-but it also increased what his powers were capable of doing. Giving him organic webbing is also a fun callback to the Sam Raimi trilogy, and Peter even mentions it when he finds out that he no longer needs synthetic web fluid. Florence Pugh's role as Yelena Boleva was really funny because her using a bathhouse as an "office" is so inappropriate it's comedy gold, and having her be a comic relief character after her role in *Thunderbolts\** really shows how forming a new team of superheroes has made her loosen up a little bit. In addition, it made sense why Hulk would be in this movie, as like Peter, he is a normal person with a mutation and the idea of the "inhibitor" helped stabilize Peter's powers, but at the same time, it also limited what he could do. I would say something about Michael Giacchino's musical score, but A) I don't need to talk about the music in every review I make on here, and B) We all know how amazing of a composer he is. In conclusion, *Spider-Man: Brand New Day* delivers a lot of what I love about MCU Spider-Man while bringing a rich, mature new story that continues the timeline of Tom Holland's iconic superhero and pushes him to the absolute extreme.

*Spider-Man: Brand New Day* is, in my opinion, the best Spider-Man movie so far. The movie has everything I want from a Spider-Man story—an exciting plot, great action, emotional moments, and a strong connection to the character. The actors have done a really nice job, and their performances make the characters feel natural and enjoyable to watch. I especially loved the overall vibe and energy of the movie. Every scene kept me interested, and the story never felt boring. For me, this is the perfect Spider-Man experience and easily one of the most enjoyable superhero movies I have watched.
